Instructions:

- Open the radiator petcock or loosen the lower radiator hose clamp and carefully drain enough coolant to lower the level below the hose connections you will work on.

- Inspect hose ends and mating fittings for cracks, hardening, or corrosion. Replace any damaged hoses before installing new clamps.
- Position the hose on the radiator or heater fitting so it fully covers the barb or neck. Slide the new clamp into place approximately 1/4"–1/2" from the hose end, over the fitting.
- Tighten the clamp evenly until it is snug and the hose is secure. Avoid over‑tightening which can damage the hose — tighten until the clamp seats and the hose no longer moves.
- Refill the cooling system with the appropriate coolant mixture, bleed air from the system per your vehicle's procedure, and run the engine to operating temperature.
- Inspect all new clamp locations for leaks and re‑tighten lightly if necessary. Dispose of or recycle old coolant properly.
