  • Heavy-gauge stamped steel construction for strength and long life.
  • Corrosion-resistant finish helps prevent rust and extends service life.
  • Secures and aligns the rear bumper to reduce vibration and maintain appearance.
  • Direct replacement for restoration or repair of original mounting hardware.
  • Bolt-on design for straightforward installation with common hand tools.
Installation / Application:
  • Difficulty: 2/5
  • Estimated time: 30-60 minutes
Suggested Tools:
  • Socket set and ratchet
  • Combination wrenches
  • Torque wrench
  • Floor jack and jack stands or vehicle ramps
  • Screwdriver or pry bar (if removing trim)
  • Penetrating oil (for rusty fasteners)
  • Wire brush or scraper
  • Safety glasses and gloves
Instructions:
  1. Park vehicle on a level surface, engage parking brake, and support the rear with jack stands or ramps for safe access.
  2. Apply penetrating oil to existing fasteners if present; allow to soak to ease removal.
  3. Support the rear bumper with a helper or suitable support (jack with a block of wood) to prevent sudden movement when removing fasteners.
  4. Remove the old bracket by unbolting it from the body/frame and the bumper. Keep hardware if reuse is intended and in good condition, otherwise prepare replacement hardware.
  5. Clean the mounting surfaces of rust, dirt, and old sealant with a wire brush or scraper to ensure a proper fit.
  6. Test-fit the new bracket into position to verify alignment with bumper and body mounting holes.
  7. Install the new bracket using the original or supplied hardware. Tighten bolts by hand until snug, then torque to factory specification where available.
  8. Lower the bumper into place and verify even gaps and alignment; adjust bracket position as needed before final torquing.
  9. Re-check all fasteners after a short test drive and periodically as part of regular maintenance.
