This direct-fit lower right-hand rear section of the front fender is designed for 2009–2019 Ram full-size pickup trucks to replace rusted or damaged panels and restore factory alignment. It provides structural support and wheel-well protection while matching original panel contours for a clean, factory-style finish. Built from stamped steel with a corrosion-resistant pretreatment, the section is engineered for reliable weld-in installation and long-term durability in restoration and repair applications.
Features:
  • Vehicle fitment: 2009–2019 Ram full-size pickup trucks — lower right-hand rear section of the front fender.
  • Stamped steel construction for OEM-style strength and panel fit.
  • Replaces rusted, dented, or damaged lower rear fender section to restore alignment and appearance.
  • Pretreated/coated surface to resist corrosion and improve paint adhesion.
  • Weld-in repair panel engineered for straightforward trimming, tacking, and final welding.
  • Ideal for restorations and collision repairs to maintain factory lines and wheel-well protection.
Installation / Application:
  • Difficulty: 4/5
  • Estimated time: 2–4 hours (plus primer/paint and curing time)
Suggested Tools:
  • Basic socket and wrench set
  • Screwdrivers and panel trim tools
  • Angle grinder or cutoff wheel
  • Spot weld drill or drill bit set
  • MIG welder (or appropriate welding equipment)
  • Clamps and vise grips
  • Body hammer and dolly (as needed)
  • Grinder and flap discs
  • Seam sealer
  • Etch primer, body filler, primer, and paint
  • Safety gear (gloves, eye protection, respirator)
Instructions:
  1. Prepare vehicle: disconnect battery, raise and support vehicle if needed, and remove any trim, inner fender liners, or components obstructing access to the damaged panel.
  2. Assess and mark cut lines on the existing fender, ensuring you leave enough material for a proper butt joint or overlap per repair preference.
  3. Cut out the damaged section using an angle grinder or spot weld cutter; remove spot welds and clean the mating surfaces of rust, paint, and debris.
  4. Test-fit the replacement section, trim as necessary for even gaps and proper alignment with adjacent panels.
  5. Clamp or tack-weld the panel in multiple spots to verify fit and panel gaps before completing welds.
  6. Complete stitch or continuous welds as required, taking care to control heat to avoid warping; allow cooling between weld runs.
  7. Grind welds smooth and blend the joint area; apply seam sealer to sealed edges and seams where required.
  8. Treat bare metal with etch primer, apply body filler if needed, then prime and finish with matching topcoat.
  9. Reinstall inner liners, trim, and any removed components; inspect final fit and finish and perform any final adjustments.
  10. Safety note: welding and bodywork require proper protective equipment and ventilation. If unsure, consult or hire a professional body technician.
